Chase and Cait family came down to spend the new years this year.

We joined in at the desert museum after Michael's eye check up.

Happy 32nd birthday to me and Happy 7th anniversary to both of us!!

Turned 32 this year!! It's no big deal at all, I find myself pretty happy with my 30s, how I look, how I feel and where my life is at. It's a great place to be at.

For my birthday, one of my birthday wishes was to play laser tag. And so we did.

We played team together, against each other, me helping Sam to get the most scores, and Sam helping me to get the most scores. I think we both didn't like playing against each other.

I had Cheesecake factory Cheesecake afterwards. It was delicious of course!!!

On my actual birthday we went to the Ranch for dinner. Luke got sick last min so Caitlin stayed with him. Bummer!

For our anniversary, Sam and I had a night all to ourselves. Grandma and grandpa and Chase and Cait had the boys over for a sleepover.

Our night was great with a Whisky Shavers music show, late night happy hour, and of course some one on one time ;)

We are a handsome couple, aren't we?!

We are loving being able to afford to have fun and enjoy life. It's been great making some income instead of living on student loans. It's true that money cant buy happiness, but having enough money to live a decent life does makes a huge difference on how much stress we have in life. Life is good to us!

Christmas Season

This was the first Christmas that we didn't have to travel!!! For that, we are so grateful! Thus this Christmas and new year has really been relaxing and refreshing. If you know me(Sharon), I've dying to settle down and finally we did, at least for 7 years.

I wanted to go see winter heaven lights since last year we didn't go. I thought the kids would enjoy it. And we all did.

Snow machine

Christmas Eve was lots of fun. We made personal pizzas. Alison and Brandon made the pizza dough and we made the sauce and toppings. The pizza turned out great! The kids had fun making their own pizzas.

Originally Sam was going to work on Christmas day but he was able to switch it to work on another day, which was so great. We had a really relaxed morning at home, spoiled with breakfast, presents time, and family time.

I found an overnight cinnamon roll recipe and it turned out wonderful. I also made Christmas sausage casserole.

Our room set up Christmas Morning:

And yes, we got a Christmas Tree this year!!!!

Everybody had so much fun opening presents. Sam got a few games, a bike pouch, DVD, some clothes which he had to return them afterwards. I did my best. I got beauty box, a pitcher that matches our kitchen rooster theme, a beautiful leather jacket, a nice warm snow jacket and more clothes and shoes... Sam is always good at spoiling me!! Enoch got ninja turtle transformer, a bike, some books, ninja turtle slippers, DVD, baseball and mitt. Michael got remote control car, starwars books, a bike, DVD, baseball and mitt. Peter got fire station play tent, 50 hot wheels cars, and DVD.  Enoch and Michael used their own allowance money and bought gifts to each other and to Peter. I think it was very meaningful for them. They were very proud for the gift choices they made. And they were happy for the gifts they received from each other.

Later of Christmas Day we went to mom and dad's and had Christmas dinner, more presents and just had some quality family fun. I love no stress Christmas, no traveling Christmas.
