Enoch Broke His Arm!
On April 10th, Enoch jumoed off trampoline and landed on his arms. He broke his left arm. He was very calm and did not shed one year the whole time. Sam took Enoch to the ED Friday night April 10th. They were able to reduce it that night and got splint with a sling. He was supposed to get a permanent cast in a week, however, the X-ray showed a little movement of the bone alinemen. In order not to move it too much, the doctor put a temporary cast over his splint for 2 weeks. And then he will get permanent cast then. He hasn't complained pain which is amazing.

Smitten by the baby girl
The boys have been smitten by this little sister of theirs. They always try to play with her and laugh at the silly things she does. Here is a video of Peter reading books to her:

Homeschooling March 23rd and on
Do to coronavirus we have being homeschooling this semester. It's been very tough being 7 teachers all together. I try to focus on math English and a little bit Chinese. They have art club every Wednesday and I can't that as their art for the week. I also count their piano practices everyday as their music. They occasionally do computer lab and a library online when their teachers give them materials. I do have them do DMS on Monday to Thursdays which I think is essential to keep their math facts skills. We decided to finish all our school work on Mondays to Thursdays so that we don't have school on Fridays.
I did an experiment to see if Peter can do fourth grade reading homework. I printed out a 4th grade level passage and had both Enoch and Peter do it. They both got correct. Peter used full sentences while Enoch only wrote bare minimum. It was funny to see their distinct altitude. I think Enoch having considerably more homework than Peter made him do it more efficiently to save time. Lol
Seven Falls in a few attempts
Back when I was pregnant, we attempted to go to Seven Falls. We didn't quite know how far it was and just went until we found a big water fall. Sam has forgotten about the hike since he did it about 15-20 years ago. Well, of course it wasn't actual Seven Falls. It was just one of the crossings with a water fall.
Fast forward, when Winona was 5 months old, we attempted Seven Falls from Bear Canyon entrance, knowing fully how to get to Seven Falls. snow had melted from the top of the mountain and the water was deep. When we got to the fifth crossing, the second to last crossing before getting to Seven Falls, the water was so deep that we were worried it would be whiskey for me with Winona in front carrier. So we ate lunch and went home.
Then yesterday we attempted again and this time we did it!
I put one slice of bacon and 2 sausages in one french pancake (a crepe). They were the best hiking lunch we had. It might stay!
Sam and Michael swam in the water. Peter and Enoch only walked into and they said it was chilly. We found a frog and snake.
