We were originally planning on going to CA for the family reunion trip this week but instead we had to stay to take care of a lot of things. That gave us a chance to spend some time with our friends. We had a pool party yesterday afternoon. 5 families with 6 kids made the party supper fun and sweet. We will surely miss our dearly friends here.
Enoch is already 15 months old. Since Sam's post about his vocabulary, he has learned a few more words, like "please", "baby". Now he can also say "ball", "bird", "milk" in both English and Chinese. It's funny that he can pick up a word that he's interested in after I said it once but took months to finally say "please". Now that he knows the power of the magic word "please", he's been abusing it since. He would say "please" whenever he wants something or needs help. It's always hard for us to say no to that. We'll have to work on this.
It's already July 2nd but I still haven't put up some pictures we took in June. I'm good at procrastination. Here you go:
We had a blast at the splash pad last week. Thanks Alison for suggesting this great place. We've been to that park quite a few times and rode our bikes by it a couple of times too but never knew they had a splash pad. Enoch was scared of the water at the beginning but warmed up to it later. I think he had a lot fun!
It was fun to have Chase, Caitlin, Traci and Carmen here last week. Enoch was obsessed with baby Carmen. He would point at Carmen and say "baby" all the time and try to touch baby Carmen. A few times I had to drag Enoch out of Cait's room only because he wanted to check on the baby. Enoch especially enjoyed following Traci around under the high risk of being pushed when Traci's upset. We also noticed that Enoch learned to open the doors from Traci, so now we have to lock all the outside doors, sometimes though, we'll find Enoch wondering around in the garage by himself.
Ok, time for some pictures of Enoch in the bath tub:
Does he look skinny to you? You'll be really surprised that he's only 10% in weight. His doctor wants us to watch him so he doesn't keep falling off the chart. So now we're trying to feed him more food.

It's stressful to change doctors at the end of your pregnancy. I switched OB's when I was 35 weeks with Piper. Everything worked out great, but it was a hassle and a bit stressful. Good luck figuring everything out. (Cali)
I've never considered Enoch skinny! Those charts just make people worry. We passed by a city on our drive in Utah called Enoch and thought of you. Good luck with the move. Love you!
