Peter is 3 weeks, goodbye grandma

This post is a bit too long for anyone's good, FYI

Grandma Rogers is leaving today. She's been here for 10 days and been an enormous help and lots of fun. We all just hope there is no implosion when she leaves.

Peter is 3 weeks as of yesterday. He is doing well. Still yellow, still adorable. Babies are never easy and he does fuss, but he is certainly not the fussiest baby on the block. Although he might be the only baby on the block... not many babies around us.

Fourth of July evening was spent at home. Pop its, sparklers, and other low key fireworks from New Mexico made the day.The kids loved pop its and glow sticks that grandma got them.

During the day Grandma did a rocket craft with the kids.

After the craft. I love this picture of mom and the boys.
I guess I'm taking the fourth of July in reverse order, so the very first thing we did that day was go for a bike ride at a park.

Somehow I got a morning off from psychiatry, so we decided to go canoeing. There was a turtle which must have been sick because it let us go right next to it. It made the boys happy.

More of what grandma has been doing for the past 10 days:

Love the photo of Peter hanging over Sam's arm. What a beautiful baby. Looks like your 4th was fabulous.
