A few days ago we went to Galveston. It was a wonderful little day trip. The weather has warmed up to ideal beach weather, and the water jumped up to 71 degrees this week. We were able to go on Monday and it looks like we're going to go again tomorrow. All day during the beach I kept on thinking how wonderful it was. It's been a while since we've been, and Enoch and Michael both started out very timid. By the end of the day the were both braving waves that were too big for them and Enoch got his first boogie board rides in. They were also both amazed by a sand tunnel I built. Sharon got some good rides in on the boogie board, too. Took over 200 pictures... went home and deleted half of them. Here's about 30 of them...

Peter never really got too into the whole water or wet sand thing |

He looks very doubtful about what I'm about to make him do |
Was really proud of how Enoch did.

Love this photo |
I love this photo of Enoch and Michael holding hands in the water. They are so excited.
It was taken from this sequence. Fun to see Enoch run to Michael's side, hold his hand, play with each other in the wave, and then Enoch abandoned Michael when the waves looked too big and scary.
My favorite part of the trip was caught on tape when Sharon caught Enoch getting his best ride.

Looks like fun. And a lot of seaweed. Glad you could get away
Love the turtle. Looks like a great trip. The boys are adorable. Can't believe Peter is 1. Loved the blog about his birthday. Hard to go wrong with chocolate cake and ice cream.
