The Great Firewall of China is still in full effect, and Sharon can't access things like blogger. Luckily Gmail is still accessible, so she sent me some pictures to share. They have been gone for 3 weeks now, 2 more to go. It sounds like they're having a good time, but I know it hasn't always been easy. I'm glad they were able to go and be with family for Chinese New Year.

They got really lucky and got an extra seat on the way to China |

Sharon's parents, happy to see the grandkids |

We bought the boots here, but you might notice the pants and especially Enoch's shirt have a local flavor |

The kids with their grandma, first cousin once removed, and second cousin. |

Notice the KFC sign. One of the few places with a playground. |

Having fun in the snow |

Playing around the factory/shop at grandma and grandpa's house |

Uncle Peng Peng |

Oranges in bed. Enoch gets to sleep on a couch, Michael gets a bed similar to a pack and play |

No car seats... |

The kids with Grandma at some sort of crafty activity |

A dragon on the streets during Chinese New Year |

A playground. It was about $3 per child for admission |

Lots of Sharon's cousins here. The guy on the far left is her brother, and the girl holding Enoch is his girlfriend. They've been together for several years now, and she "waited" for him when he was in the military for 2 years. |

Sharon's straightened and cut hair! What a beauty. |
