It's been a while since the Christmas holidays, but I've been busy now rotations have started up again. Since this blog is largely a journal for our family, I didn't want to not post anything about it.
We drove to Tucson and stopped at Balmorhea State park on the halfway mark. The park is basically just a giant swimming pool they made out of a spring, but it is really cool because it's warm, enormous, crystal clear, and filled with lots of fish.
We then had a mini vacation within a vacation and went to Payson to use up a time share that would have gone to waste. It was great. Thanks Mom and Dad!
The rest of the time was spent with all the Rogers. It was so fun to have everyone be together. We even took family portraits -- thanks Mom and Dad! This is especially good because we hardly got any photos of adults.
On the way home we stopped at a friend's house in San Angelo, and then went through Austin and stopped at McKinney Falls State Park.

It was about 18 hours of driving both ways, we listened to 28 hours of Atlas Shrugged, and there's still 30 more hours of Atlas shrugged to go. Thanks Sharon for making the epic drive while being pregnant!
