With my exams over and a 2 week break ahead of us, we're heading back to Arizona to enjoy Christmas with family. A couple of months ago we found a deal on a toy bike at a garage sale, and I insisted on stowing it away for Christmas. Since we couldn't very well take it to Arizona, Christmas came a bit early. Taking the above picture was striking to me because Enoch and Michael look so different. Enoch's skin is definitely a bit yellower or tanner than Michael's, and I am trying to recall how Enoch looked when he was Michael's age.

After looking at this picture of Enoch, I'm still not sure how their skin tone compares. I do know that Enoch looks completely different. So, I took another picture of Michael in the same pose to see if he also looks like a Buddha.

Somehow Michael doesn't seem as Buddha as Enoch was.
I decided that before we left for Arizona I should rake up some leaves so our house didn't look too abandoned while we were gone. When we rented the house I was so pleased about the giant trees in our backyard providing shade. I didn't realize then that it would mean me raking up eleven 40-gallon trash bags of leaves this weekend. And the leaves are still falling. At least it provided us the opportunity to take some classic pictures.
