Playtime with Russell

I'm really glad Enoch and Michael have had time to play with Russell. He is a fun, loving boy and they all get along great. They are always excited whenever it's time to get together with Russell and always have a great time playing. We went to a park last week and had a nice morning. It's only sad they haven't had more chances to play with their other cousins.

Russell is brave and determined. When Enoch and Michael saw him tackle the climbing wall they had to have a go.

Enoch loves turtles and got obsessed with a giant turtle statue.

Way too many pictures for just a morning playdate... but everything seems so special when your with cousins.

Happy 30 and 5

Last week was Sharon's 30th birthday! The number 30 scared her as she approached it, but she passed it with grace and is as young and beautiful as ever. It was also our 5th anniversary on the 2nd! Those 5 great years certainly flew by. With Christmas, Sharon's birthday, and our anniversary all close together, there's a lot we celebrate this time of year. A little bit about our anniversary and Sharon's birthday.

In the morning we went to Sabino Canyon with the kidsMom watched the kids for us as we got to go on a date to see Ender's Game. She took this picture of us just before we left. The movie was good and it was great to get out together. Peter gave grandma a hard but slightly less hard time than the last time she watched him, so that's improvement perhaps. We didn't do a lot more than this on our anniversary, because our real 5-year anniversary celebration will be on a cruise in February! Grandma's present to us is flying out to watch the kids to make it all happen!!


The kids sang happy birthday to Sharon on her birthday as she opened a present. It was a dress I bought that was way to big.... :0

Then we placed the kids outside and loaded them with junk food so we could watch a movie in the morning. Then we went swimming, and then I made dinner.

 And then we had a Bashas' cake and ice cream :)
