First field trip as a chaperone for school

Enoch's kindergarten class went to the National Wildlife Museum for a field trip and I was allowed to go as a chaperone while bringing Michael and Peter with us. It was a new experience for me.

Patagonia Lake camping trip

We somehow got to go camping at Patagonia Lake when Sam suddenly got a day off. We had a great time!

We got there late afternoon set up our tent and roasted hot dogs for dinner. Roasted marshmallow with chocolate covered pretzels for dessert.

 The next day Sam made us delicious  Dutch oven  breakfast. And then we went to that little Beach area where Enoch and Michael got to paddle on their brand-new kayaks . It was nice that Sam bought two kayaks and Enoch and Michael were able to accompany each other while exploring the lake. The Kayaks were a big hit at the beach with all the other little kids. Good idea Sam!

Sam went for a swim across the lake in the somewhat cold water. That was Brave of him!

Just before lunch Sam went back to our campsite to pack up everything including the whole tent all by himself while me and the boys relaxed on the beach. Best husband and father award! We then had lunch at the picnic table on the grass area and then played some more. The boys had a great time and of course even though they were so tired but they still didn't want to leave when it was time.



It was a great steal away for our family for sure!

Easter and Celebrating Enoch's birthday

We celebrated Easter and Enoch's birthday with family on Easter Sunday at our house. We just put pavers in our backyard surrounding our pool, it looks nice.


We did Easter egg hunt with Russell. It was so fun!
